Weekly ferry to Madeira
Following last years successful season, the Armas ferry company is repeating its weekly service between Tenerife and Madeira.
The new service begins on June 16 with a new addition, the Volcán de Tamadaba, to the Armas fleet in the Canaries.
The new ferry will leave Santa Cruz at 10.30pm on Saturday nights, docking in Funchal, Madeira, at 8am the following morning.
The return journey leaves Funchal at 7pm on Sundays, arriving back in Santa Cruz at 10am on Monday mornings.

Special rates are available for group travel and several intercultural exchanges have already been booked with numbers
in the hundreds, according to the company.
The Volcán de Tamadaba is one of the biggest, fastest and most modern in the Armas fleet, capable of 24 knots and carrying
1,000 passengers and 500 cars.
It is the fifth ship to be added to the Armas Canarian fleet in the last three years. Last year the service carried more
than 5,000 people between the islands.
